We are having a BUSY week! We have read many stories and completed lots of activities. Our class is having an awesome week. It is amazing how much better we are getting in Kindergarten each day. We are all really enjoying the new Math centers as well as the weather Science kit. We go outside each morning to measure the wind speed with our flags and then record it on our calendar along with precipitation and weather. Today we made our own thermometers so that we can learn how to read them. Yesterday, we made a class book to help us learn to count by 10's. Each person got to paint their hands and put them on a page in the book so that each page has 10 fingers! We practiced counting with it today!

Parents, THANK YOU so much for helping in our classroom. It is awesome to see how involved you are. It is a great help to have you around for us. The kids love having you in and out of the classroom. They get so excited when they see you here!

Now that it's done, I say we all need a relaxing, fun get- together to celebrate! Any ideas?

Congrats, everyone!

HOORAY!

We finished our classes for the summer! Now all there is left to do is the TWS, which is no small matter, but at least we can completely focus on it from now until the 27th. Remember to post any useful correspondence from Dr. Rock or anyone else telling us what to do and when to do it. :) Way to go, ladies and gentlemen! Onward and upward!

YAY

Stress release

Welcome!

Hey, friends! I hope that this blog proves useful in the coming semesters. The only thing I can think of to post now is the TWS due date (still the 27th of July, as far as I know) and that we should be getting some emailed info from Dr. Rock pretty soon. Happy Thursday - almost the weekend!
